  1. Confirm your bet was graded as a loss
  2. Read the rules and terms of the bet type you placed
  3. Verify the results with an official third party data source
  4. Contact FanDuel with all of this information and ask for a review

Confirm Your Bet was Graded as a Loss

The first step to fix your bet that was incorrectly graded bet is to confirm that your bet was actually graded as a loss.

To do this, go to your bet history in either the app or web and verify that the bet was graded a loss:

You will see the “Returned” amount of $0 if you lost the bet.

Read the Rules and Terms of Your Bet

Next, you need to read the terms and conditions of your bet. For straightforward bet types like spread, moneyline, and totals then there shouldn’t be anything too quirky with the rules.

Some sports like hockey have special rules on ties, whether overtime is included, etc.

For more niche bets like prop bets, it is important to confirm the rules. To do this, head on over to the FanDuel Sportsbook House Rules page. You need to select the state you are located in to see your state’s specific rules.

While this content is extremely boring to read, it is important to understand the information to make sure your bet was incorrectly graded. Go to the “Results and Market Settlement” section of the document to find the information relevant to your bet.

Verify the Results of Your Bet

Once you have confirmed your bet was incorrectly graded, you need to find the data from official data sources that shows you actually won your bet.

For major sports leagues, this is best done through the league’s official websites such as NFL.com, NBA.com, etc. Go to the Scores section and find the relevant game.

Take a screenshot of the data that shows the official scoring of your bet. Also save the URL of the game so you can supply these to FanDuel support.

If your incorrectly graded bet was on a less common sport, then you can use trusted third party sites such as ESPN.com as reliable sources of information. Follow the same process to make sure you have the information you need to share with FanDuel.

Contact FanDuel Sportsbook Support and Ask for a Review

Now that you have the information you need to support your claim, you need to reach out to FanDuel Sportsbook support and ask for a review.

You can do this in three different ways:

  1. Official FanDuel Sportsbook Support (recommended)
  2. FanDuel Sportsbook Support Chat
  3. FanDuel Sportsbook Twitter/X account

The preferred method is to go through the official FanDuel Sportsbook support. This ensures everything is logged properly and there will be an official record of all communication. You will only be able to put your message in text, but you can follow up via email with your supporting images if needed.

Have your Bet ID(s) handy to make sure their support can easily reference which bet you are referring to.

You can also use the FanDuel Sportsbook chat support. Wait times will vary depending on the time of day and day of week. In my experience this is not the best channel as it is hard to convey so much information through chat.

FanDuel Sportsbook support chat

The last resort is to tweet/message @FanDuel_Support on Twitter/X. If you have had repeated attempts at contacting FanDuel Support with no success, this could be the way to go. Often times putting some public pressure on FanDuel can accelerate the process.
