BeeBettor is a positive EV betting tool that gives you all the control you need to make decisions on which bets are +EV and which aren’t. BeeBettor offers extensive customization that allows you to use your own knowledge and opinion to filter out what is +EV and what isn’t.
BeeBettor is a newcomer to the positive EV betting space, having gone through the famous Y Combinator startup incubator. The co-founders, Jordan Murphy and Matthew Wolfe, both have extensive personal experience with sports betting. They built BeeBettor as an aggregator that will save bettors time AND help them win more using all of the customization features they have built into the app and website.

BeeBettor Positive EV Experience
The Hive (Positive EV Plays)
The Hive is where you will see your curated list of positive EV plays. You have the option to sort by either Highest ROI or the Most Recent.
The sorting feature is very important. If you want to be the fastest in terms of identifying new opportunities that meet your criteria, you should sort by Most Recent. Otherwise sorting by highest ROI makes sense.
On this screen, you have the ability to not only identify potential plays, but you can also dig into the details by expanding the card to get more information.
By clicking on “More”, you are able to see things such as all odds at other sportsbooks, as well as the odds movement over time. This information is incredibly valuable in determining whether a potential play should turn into a real play. You get all of this information in just a few taps/clicks which saves you a massive amount of time.
Seeing this information at a glance gives you the full market picture. This is much different than other positive EV platforms that just give you the play and very little other information. Using this information to your advantage can take your positive EV betting to the next level.
BeeBettor Model Weights and How to Use Them
One of the biggest differentiators that BeeBettor has is their model weights. This allows you to weight each sportsbook’s odds differently to create a custom positive EV calculation.
Why is this useful?
Knowing which sportsbooks are market makers and which ones are “retail” is extremely important information. Market making sportsbooks will tend to have the sharper lines due to them taking more action. This means that you should in turn weight their odds more than other sportsbooks.
At the same time, you shouldn’t totally disregard the rest of the market. There are some sportsbooks that will take serious volume on a market that should be respected.
You can use what you know to formulate the best weighting models you can think of. One of the best features within Model Weights is the fact that you can create different models for different market types.
For example, you could create one model for Main Markets, and an entirely separate model for player props. This is so important as a sharp book on a main market might not be sharp at all on player props. I recommend creating multiple models and tracking your performance using each model to see what is working.
BeeBettor DeVig Methods
BeeBettor offers 4 different devig methods:
- Probit
- Additive
- Multiplicative
- Power
Each of these devigging methods offers slightly different ways to get to the “true odds”. These different methods end up with slightly different results. I personally haven’t found much difference between them, but results could be more dramatic as you extend to very long or very short odds.
BeeBettor Market Movements
BeeBettor heavily incorporates line movement into their product. This gives you valuable information on what lines moved and when. This context will let you know if you are looking at a fresh line that just moved, or the line has been sitting there for minutes or hours.
The Odds Movement tab will show you a list of the most recent line moves (both up and down). This can be a really useful tool if you are looking to “steam chase” or find the freshest odds changes.
This view is a bit harder to deduce the positive EV and how much, but it can be useful if you don’t need that level of precision.
BeeBettor Odds Screen
BeeBettor offers a traditional odds screen on all of their markets, similar to what you would find at other positive EV tools.
The Odds Screen is pretty simple and can be a helpful tool, but it isn’t the strength of BeeBettor. I’ve found it to be most useful to analyze all markets, including alt lines, in one view. Alt lines are more likely to have bigger differences and thus more opportunity. This odds screen makes it easier to find those opportunities.
BeeBettor Settings
The settings of BeeBettor are one of the most important features of the tool. They allow you to adjust almost anything you can think of:
- Sportsbook
- Market
- Odds
- Timing
They also have a section to enter your bankroll and Kelly Criterion percentage. This is extremely helpful if you are using positive EV betting and Kelly to help size your bets. In The Hive you will see your recommended bet amount based on the EV, your bankroll, and your Kelly settings.
You can even get notifications for positive EV plays and tune this to have a minimum EV % to send a notification. This makes positive EV betting much more passive, especially if you have invested the time to make your settings as accurate as possible.
This will allow you to trust the notification much more and act on them without too much more research.
